Josh Sussex is a founding attorney of SG Legal Group and a dedicated advocate for those injured due to negligence. He began his academic journey at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he pursued a Bachelor of Arts. Driven by an early passion for justice, Josh simultaneously completed his undergraduate degree while beginning coursework at the University of Baltimore School of Law—earning both degrees within five years of graduating high school. He graduated magna cum laude from law school, a testament to his diligence and commitment.

Josh launched his legal career in Dorchester County, Maryland, representing clients in criminal defense, family law, and personal injury cases. After gaining invaluable courtroom experience, he moved to Baltimore City, where he joined a respected firm focused on personal injury and workers’ compensation. He later expanded his practice at a large national personal injury law firm, where he refined his focus and found his professional calling—representing injury victims.

Today, Josh concentrates his practice on automobile accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death claims throughout Maryland. His in-depth understanding of insurance tactics, combined with his compassion for injured clients, allows him to fight tirelessly for the justice and compensation they deserve.

Outside the courtroom, Josh enjoys snowboarding, golfing, and hiking. He spends much of his free time outdoors with his wife, Jamie, and their two dogs, Carl and Charlie.
