Looking Forward

If you’re in line for a green card, it is important to keep track of the Visa Bulletin changes. It is a good idea to have all the necessary documents prepared for your green card application ahead of time, so you can be ready to file as soon as the Visa Bulletin shows that a green card is available to you. By not filing in a month when a green card is available, you risk facing a surprise backward movement (“retrogression”) in the next Visa Bulletin.

As reported in previous issues, SG Legal Group expects that EB-1 will continue to progress the same with each visa bulletin. Individuals who are now current should contact SG Legal Group to begin work on their Adjustment of Status case. If you have an AOS pending with USCIS, it will not be adjudicated until the Final Action date becomes current.
